Displaying the SETUP menu
The SETUP menu provides a series of options to allow you to configure the digital video
processor to suit your specific installation.
To display the SETUP menu
Press Menu on the remote control for seven seconds.
The display shows the first setup option on the first line of the display and the option’s
current setting on the second line of the display:
SET: NTSC SCANRATE
1280 x 720
Press > or < to step between the alternative values for the option.
Except in the case of the SCANRATE options, the value will change immediately to the
selected value.
To change the scan rate
Select the NTSC SCANRATE or PAL SCANRATE option:
SET: PAL SCANRATE
1280 x 720/50Hz
The NTSC scanrate sets the output rate when a 60Hz source is auto detected, and the PAL
scanrate when a 50Hz source is auto-detected. Check with the display device manual to
determine which output rate to choose.
To change the setting:
Press
STORE.
The display shows:
SET: ARE YOU SURE
<PRESS STORE KEY>
Press STORE again to change the setting.
To set the screen shape
Select the SCREEN SHAPE option:
SET: SCREEN SHAPE
WIDE SCREEN
Use this option to match the aspect ratio of your display device. The options are as follows:
Option Description
WIDE SCREEN Choose this option when using a 16:9 projector or display, or a 4:3
projector with an anamorphic lens on a 16:9 screen.
WIDE 4:3 Choose this option when using a 4:3 projector or display, but want to
show a 16:9 image (letterbox); for example, when using a 4:3 projector
on a 16:9 screen.
4:3 Choose this option when using a 4:3 projector or display.
The screen shape defaults to AUTO when in high bandwidth mode.
